Art Deco Carl Schneider Full Figure Mardi Gras Clown Girl Pin Cushion Half Doll
About the Item
Wonderful 1930s Art Deco and totally charming full figured pin cushion half doll which was manufactured by the German factory of Carl Schneider, she stands a petite 6.7 cm in height. This wonderful little half doll is in the form of a standing girl dressed in a clown or mardi gras costume. With her wide ruffled white collar and her little black skull cap she has a pale mint green and white dress with black pom poms down the front which is finished off with a trimmed hem in a wide black band, she looks absolutely delightful. Her dress is complimented further by her mint green tights and little black shoes. She leans forward slightly with her hands behind her back. Her face is the real hero of this doll though, beautifully detailed and vibrantly colored are her cheeks and bow shaped lips. She not only looks great but she's also in very good condition with just the tiniest of odd flea bites to the base rim only.
