A wonderful late 19th century French copper Daubiere by J. Jacquotot with bronze handles, dovetailed joinery up the sides and around the bottom, and a lid with a bronze handle. Daubiere are braising pans used to roast inexpensive cuts of meat with vegetables and broth to create Provincial-style stews.
