A lovely pitcher designed by Ewald Dahlskog in the 1930s at Bo Fajans in Gefle, Sweden. It is 26.5 cm high and in very good condition. Ewald Dahlskog (1894–1950) was one of Sweden’s most influential ceramic designers and a key figure in the development of Scandinavian Art Deco. During his collaboration with Bo Fajans in Gävle from the 1920s through the 1940s, he created some of the factory’s most distinctive and sought-after works. Dahlskog introduced a bold artistic vision characterized by elegant forms, richly textured surfaces, and innovative glazes inspired by both modernism and classical traditions. His designs elevated Bo Fajans to international recognition and remain highly regarded among collectors today. The partnership produced ceramics of exceptional creativity, craftsmanship, and enduring aesthetic appeal.
