Antique French Neoclassical Marble & Ormolu Pastry Centerpiece / Tazza

About the Item

Antique French Neoclassical marble & Ormolu pastry Tazza France, Circa 1900s Of substantial size, a rare find, by repute, the provenance is said to be from the famed French 'Stohrer Patisserie' Bakery. The top crowned with an ormolu acorn finial, mounted on ormolu mounted column, holding the 12-inch wide oval marble tray. Raised on a carved scrolled cartouche alabaster and marble pedestal base. A stunning presentation for dining or highlighting objets d'art. Overall measurements: 25-inches high x 17-inches wide x 12-inches deep, raised on a 8.75-inch diameter base. The oval marble shelf is raised 9.75 inches, the display space is 7- Inches at each side and 5-Inches wide at the top and bottom of the shelf. Condition Report: In well cared for antique condition, wonderful warm old world patina, some minor surface scratches, from years of use. Presents beautifully, ready to use, or can be professionally polished.
