Antique Japanese Plate Kutaniyaki 1950s

About the Item

This is Kutani 1950th Century. This plate was made with porcelain, style of kutaniyaki. It is a traditional craft of ceramics with overglaze painting and was born in the early Edo period. Kutani ware is characterized by bright colors, bold and elegant patterns, and a technique called overglazing. Overglazing is a technique in which pigments are painted on top of the glaze and then fired again. Made of around 1950s. The dimensions are 36×36×H5 cm
