French 1850s Majolica Asparagus Platter with Purple, Turquoise and Yellow Tones

About the Item

A French Majolica asparagus serving platter from the mid-19th century with turquoise, purple, green and yellow accents. Created in France during the 1850s, this Majolica platter features a curving body adorned with purple, pink and white asparagus resting on green leaves. The border alternates a yellow wicker-inspired section followed by a turquoise edge with lateral handles. With its lovely decor, this 1850s French Majolica asparagus platter will be a great decorative addition to any dining room.
