Inspired by Japanese forms and traditions, objects in the KAYA collection have been worn down to the essential contours. Cast in bronze, the forms are meant to convey a sense of stillness and silence within the space.
Founded by award-winning designer Elizabeth Krueger, and her art enthusiast client Sid Parakh, Opame is an exploration of ideas where form and materiality takes center stage. Inspired by the founders' shared passion for travel and reverence for superior craftsmanship, Opame is a ganglion of beauty, craft, and exquisite design.
Opame Collective’s objects are artisanal and use natural materials. Objects in bronze and brass are unlacquered, patinated and pitted. This is part of the inherent beauty of materials. To care, dust with a soft cloth and do not use metal cleaners as they may affect the patina.
