An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver salver; an addition to our silver dining collection This exceptional antique George V sterling silver salver has a circular shaped form. The surface of this large silver tray is plain and unembellished. The shaped Chippendale style border of the tray is encompassed with applied moulded decoration. This antique silver tray is supported by three impressive volute scrolling feet. The underside of this impressive salver bears the retailer’s mark 'Mappin & Webb'. Condition This large antique salver is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. This sterling silver salver has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside are very clear; the hallmarks are deeply struck due to the superior gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this Mappin and Webb salver.
