Single Ended Marrow Scoop Made in London in 1849 by George Adams

About the Item

An unusual Single ended Marrow Scoop made in London in 1849 by George Adams. The Marrow Scoop is modelled in a one ended design which we had not previously seen before, with flared Old English Pattern handle, which is double struck. The top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest and the reverse displays a crisp set of hallmarks, including a journeyman's mark. George Adams made very unusual serving pieces of innovative design and this piece is of the finest quality and is in excellent condition. Length: 8.15 inches, 20.38 cm.
