1920s Neoclassical Revival Trenton Potteries Footed Vase

About the Item

Signed Trenton Potteries Company neoclassical style footed cachepot. A very distinct piece of porcelain. Trenton Potteries was one of many companies in the area of New Jersey's state capital that produced home fixtures or sanitary porcelain like tubs, sinks, electric insulators, and glove molds right down to industrial fixtures to vases, plates and decorative wares. Fully signed on the bottom, The Trenton Potteries Company, Trenton, NJ, Made in USA. There have been many changes to the markings and stamps from the late 19th Century to the mid-20th Century. This piece would date circa 1920. Good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines or restorations. Wear consistent with age and use. Approximately 8.5" diameter x 7.75" high.
