This is a stunning and unique antique Berlin framed porcelain plaque, circa 1870 in date.
This magnificent plaque is oval in shape with an exquisite gilded cast and pierced ormolu frame which borders a spectacular central hand painted portrait of a delightful and charming young woman in costume.
The young lady is depicted in bright vibrant colours and is finished in great detail to the highest of standards. She wears an intricate hat with beautiful shiny pearls and the various red and green nuances of her dress are shown in all their glory.
The lady is featured against a gilded background, which adds extra elegance to this splendid piece.
