A beautiful porcelain plate, hand-decorated, featuring four women in robe gowns, Chinese Export design (for the US and European markets), circa 1970s, China. Center plate scene shows four women in robe gowns together, two playing the flute, with light-blue water, magenta flowers and green Lilypad design at feet. The palette includes pink, green, yellow, orange, light blue, and gold, with detailing applied by hand. Palette similar to the famille-rose designs. Bottom marking reading “Hand‑Painted Decoration” and “Made in China,” along with impressed red seal used by mid‑century Jingdezhen and Guangdong workshops. Great as wall art or cabinet display.
