Piero Fornasetti Vintage "Botanica Pratica" Porcelain Botanicals Serving Bowl

About the Item

This wonderful substantial sized porcelain square vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian Piero Fornasetti bowl or serving piece has all the elements of botanicals and flowers and is entitled "Botanica Pratica" and signed Fornasetti Milano, made in Italy. This is a very rare mid century modern Fornasetti porcelain bowl. The colors that are hand painted are beautiful in an array of colors of purples, yellow, blacks, greens, turquoise and pink. This is a lovely vintage Fornasetti serving dish that is rarely seen on the market now. It has a multitude of uses for all your serving and entertaining needs. This piece is from the 1950s. In great condition. The colors are unusual. This must be hand washed. We have never seen this one before as it is very obscure and hard to find. This is a winner for sure.

    This is a good oval shaped serving dish or bowl, made by the Derby factory, hand painted and gilded in a free flowing floral pattern, during the reign of George 111 in the early 19th century, circa 1815.   This is a well potted oval shaped dish or bowl with a vertically fluted and moulded side edge and rim, sitting on a low foot.
