We invite you here to look at a SPLENDID Meissen Dinner Set for six persons consisting of 15 pieces: White porcelain, multicolored painted with nicest flower pattern, golden painted edges existing. Decoration type and form: NEUBRANDENSTEIN-RELIEF (= it is a special type of wattling / trelliswork being separated from each other on dishes' edge by dissociating rods / these Rococo-like curved rods are extending in dishes' middle area). There are various flower's types painted on the dishes / tableware, for example dahlia flowers, auricula, snowflakes, dog roses, poppy flowers etc., combined with strewn flowers and insects. DESIGNED BY: JOHANN JOACHIM KAENDLER & JOHANN F. EBERLEIN (1741) by order of: FRIEDRICH AUGUST VON BRANDENSTEIN (Saxon Chef de Cuisine / masterchef) THIS MEISSEN DINNER SET CONSISTS OF 15 PARTS: -- 6 soup plates -- 6 dinner plates -- 1 large serving platter for meat -- 1 large serving platter for fish -- 1 large lidded tureen topped with sculptured cherub's figurine holding cornucopia MARKS: There is at reverse side of dinner set's pieces MEISSEN SWORD MARK (underglazed) of middle of 19th century (circa 1850/60) existing. Various painter's numbers and former's numbers visible.
