The details are stunningly scupltured = finest modelling Manufactory: Meissen Dating: made 1910 (MEISSEN JUBILEE MARK 1710-1910) Hallmarked: Meissen Mark with Pommels on Hilts (here it is earliest 20th century) First quality model number 279 / former's number 76 / painter's number 41 Material: multicolored porcelain, partially golden painted, glossy finish Technique: handmade porcelain Style: Rococo Design: -- Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706-1775) The sculptor was since year 1731 modeller of Meissen manufactory - he is one of the best modellers Meissen manufactory ever had. - Kaendler designed PANTALONE AND COLUMBINE (MODEL 279) circa 1741.   First quality Specifications: Pantalone and Columbine deriving from Commedia dell'Arte. Pantalone is an elder man, additionally he is an efficient dude, mean, very often enamored and cuckolded... a man who is wearing slippers, jerkin and tights as well as a cloak; very often a money purse is attached to Pantalone's hip so that it is well visible / he is long-bearded. The figurine group shows pantalone who is accompanied by the young woman columbine teasing him: She pulls at his beard and hides a Venetian mask. The base is decorated with sculptured flowers' blossoms.
