Pair of 19th Century French Limoges Painted Porcelain Cows Wall Platters
About the Item
Decorate a wall or a shelf with this large and colorful pair of antique platters. Crafted in Limoges France by Haviland circa 1880 and signed, each hand painted porcelain plate is oval in shape, and features a pastoral scene with cows in a pasture. The porcelain dishes have rich, neutral tones and beautifully textured, realistic figures, and embellished with a thin gold and cobalt blue trim around the edge. Both artworks are signed by the artist "Henry". The important wall plates are in excellent condition with vivid colors, and would be a perfect addition for a ranch house or hunting lodge. Stamped in the back for further authentication, Haviland Limoges France.
