Royal Vienna Style Coffee Tea Set Dessert Service for 16, circa 1930
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Royal Vienna style dessert/ coffee set for 16 decorated with four different mythological scenes: Ares receiving armor, Europa and the bull, Iphigenia escaping sacrifice and Aphrodite receiving gifts.
Each piece is decorated with blue bands, transferred golden designs and gold trim with gold beading; they are further embellished with hand-painted raised white starbursts.
There are 16 cups, 16 saucers and 16 dessert plates. The cups and saucers are marked with the crown and hammers for Pirkenhammer, Czechoslovakia.
Great condition, some wear natural to its age and use, no chips or structure damages.
