Sauce Boat, Mission Church Pattern, Worcester, circa 1765

About the Item

A fluted sauce boat, decorated with the rare Mission Church pattern in cobalt under-glaze painting. This rare pattern is found only on sauce boats. This example is unusually large and finely painted, and is distinctly superior to other examples we've seen over the years.
