Lana Kova Studio

Lana works in sculpture, ceramics, watercolor and painting and has been an active participant in the New York art scene. She specializes in contemporary ceramic sculpture, pottery, and porcelain, and has a passion for glaze research and experimentation. Her signature: the seemingly infinite - hand drawn dots covering the inside and outside of a bowl; coral-like carvings surrounding a large ceramic sculpture. Her art is meditative, the result of controlled rhythm and concentration. Lana Kova has exhibited with Sara Japanese Pottery, The Fireplace Project, Studio 11, and Greenwich House Pottery. She was one of the selected artists to participate in the Gyeonggi-do International Ceramic Competition Exhibition in 2017 and her sculpture Black Urchin was selected for the permanent collection of Korea Ceramic Foundation, South Korea.
