Mid-century Norwegian lidded casserole produced by Figgjo, model MF 555, in the “Anitra” pattern. The form is generous and architectural, with softly flared contours and integrated handles. The deep green glaze reveals subtle tonal transitions, while the lid carries a finely rendered floral border in pastel and botanical hues. Executed in glazed fireproof earthenware, this piece exemplifies Scandinavian functional modernism — where daily objects were designed with both visual sensitivity and practical purpose. Stamped to the underside: Figgjo Norway – Anitra – MF 555. Very good vintage condition with minor wear appropriate to age.
