1910s German Silver Salver by Gebrüder Kühn

About the Item

A fine antique German 800 standard silver salver; an addition to our continental silver collection. This fine antique German 800 standard silver salver has plain oval form. The surface of the silver salver is plain and unembellished. The raised rounded border is ornamented with an impressive band of embossed fluted decoration with a plain rim. The hallmarks struck to the well of this salver include: Maker's mark: Gebrüder Kühn Silver quality/purity mark: .800 (800/1000) National mark: Crescent moon and crown Retailer's mark: Knewitz Condition This antique salver is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent presentation condition. The hallmarks struck to the surface of the German silver salver are all very clear.
