An exceptional, fine and impressive, large antique Georgian Newcastle sterling silver Old English pattern soup ladle made by Ann Robertson; an addition to our silver cutlery collection This exceptional antique Georgian silver soup ladle, in sterling standard, has been crafted in the Old English pattern. The anterior surface of the handle terminal is embellished with a contemporary engraved initials 'JBM'. This fine example of silver cutlery has a plain rounded bowl. The reverse of the ladle features a rounded heel to the bowl and a pip to the handle terminal. This exceptional silver soup ladle, crafted by the renowned and collectable Newcastle lady silversmith Ann Robertson, is a large example for its type. Condition This antique Georgian silver soup ladle is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of the handle are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian dining silverware.
