Elkington Silver Plated Fish Servers

About the Item

This pair of silver plated pierced and engraved fish servers were made by Elkington & Co. They are of good quality and quite weighty. They are decorated with very ornate and very detailed engraving, more so on the fish slice which features a dolphin amidst flowers and reeds. A dolphin is also engraved on the back of the fork. The slice is 325 mm (12.75 inches) in length and 55 mm wide (2.25 inches), while the fork is 247 mm (9.75 inches) long and 52 mm (2 inches) wide. Both pieces are in very, very good condition and carry Elkington's date code for 1880.
