Old French .950 Fine Silver Neoclassical Design 3-Piece Carving Set Original Box

About the Item

Old French .950 fine silver handle three-piece carving set with Gigot (bone holder); Maker's Marks for Societe Parisienne d'Orfevrerie 98 rue Vielle-du-Temple -PARIS- and the "Minerva's head" with the number "1" near its forehead indicating the .950 fineness of silver used. Wonderful neoclassical pattern with original box (box is A/F). Please note, the knife handle has a hand engraved monogram "CD" on one side only of the handle. No other pieces in set are monogrammed. Measures: Knife: 12 1/2" L x 1" W x 1/2" D.
