This is a vintage decorative tea tray. An Italian, gilt finished serving platter with Baroque revival taste, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1950.
Striking colour and tonality creates a distinctive appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Beaming golden hues accentuated with bright crimson
Finished with a serpentine flared rim, hand-painted in light cream
Reverse accentuated with concertina diamond pattern
