White Porcelain Serving Fork and Spoon

Long, white porcelain serving fork and spoon set. The ends of the handles have holes for hanging. The stylized fork has a short saw tooth edge, like a "spork". This design is quite reminiscent of the porcelain serving set designed by Trudi and Harold Sitterle. Their porcelain serving pieces won Good Design awards from the Museum of Modern Art in the 1950s. Though it is possible that it's a variation of their classic design, it could also be a period copy. The last photo is from an article about the Sitterles in the April 1955 issue of "Industrial Design" magazine, page 81. Interestingly, they spell her name "Trude". In all other references we've found, it's spelled "Trudi". Due to the design and material, these servers would also work well with the Freeman Lederman pieces designed by LaGardo Tackett and Kenji Fujita.
