Circa 1835 Pair of Old Sheffield Plate Wine Coasters, English. Cast silver applied mounts. Turned wood bases of holly or boxwood. Seamed construction. Construction consistent with Old Sheffield Plate or the earliest electroplate invented circa 1825. Minor showing through of the copper. 7.5" dia., 1.75" h.
