Keller, French 0.950 (higher purity than sterling) silver oval-shaped centerpiece bowl with a frieze-like geometric design along the rim from the 20th century. This elegant piece measures 13 1/4'' in length by 8 3/8'' in width by 3 1/2'' in height, weighs 26.2 troy ounces, and bears hallmarks as shown. ‘Everything stamped Keller is good,’ said Lucien Folize. At the Paris World Exhibitions of 1867 and 1878, he was presented with silver and gold medals respectively. Years later, at the Paris World Fairs of 1889 and 1900, he won the gold medal and Grand Prix respectively and was commissioned to produce important trophies for Monaco’s principality. Keller’s silver is preferred for its subtle but exquisite finish and high functionality which draws clients from the ancient Russian Royal...
