The surface of the bachelor teapot is plain and unembellished. The upper rim of the body is ornamented with a band of cast and applied gadroon decoration all in a swirl design. This antique silver teapot is fitted with a hallmarked, domed flush hinged cover surmounted with an impressive and original, cast sterling silver flame style finial; the flush hinge indicates the high quality of the piece. This exceptional example of antique teaware retains the original C scroll carved painted wood handle featuring a plain scrolling thumbpiece and a cast silver leaf decorated design to the upper socket, This impressive example of antique silverware has a cast silver swan necked spout embellished with fluted decoration and applied leaf motif to the lip. The ornamentation to the underside of the spout incorporates a vacant oval cartouche below a shell motif. The cast circular spreading foot is encircled with further gadroon decoration to the rim. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver teapot has a compressed oval rounded form to a spreading foot. The body of this 1930s silver teapot has a subtly planished finish, all in the Arts and Crafts style. The body of this impressive teapot is encompassed with a plain applied moulded girdle. This George V teapot is fitted with an impressive hinged cover featuring an applied Arts and Crafts style cross design to the upper plateau. The cover retains the original carved, faceted finial, ornamented with inset silver components. This teapot is fitted with the original swept carved handle, ornamented with ribbed decoration to the thumbpiece. The upper socket of the handle is further ornamented with a cross design, reflecting that to the cover. The teapot features a plain, planished swan necked spout, accented with applied moulded ornamentation to either side. This exceptional example of Arts and Crafts silver teaware is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Condition This antique 1930s silver teapot is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Baroque style sterling silver chocolate pot. The object was completely handmade in Italy by the silversmith Lorenzo Ferrari who had the laboratory in Milan in via XXV Aprile. The body, in the central and upper part, was worked with the technique of the embossing and the chisel in the front part, with typical baroque scrolls, leaving a smooth central coat of arms for any noble coats of arms or family initials.
