Antique Edwardian Arts & Crafts Style Sterling Silver Bon Bon Dish

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver bon bon dish made in the Arts & Crafts style; an addition to our silver dining collection This exceptional antique silver bon bon dish, in sterling standard, has a circular rounded tazza shaped form. The body of this Edwardian silver dish is plain and unembellished. The cylindrical tapering pedestal is ornamented with undulating bands of tooled decoration incorporating applied oval collet bead motifs, all in the iconic Arts & Crafts style. This exceptional antique silver dish was crafted by the collectable silversmiths Newcastle Handicrafts Co and assayed in Birmingham. Condition This antique silver bon bon dish is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The dish has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the body of the dish are all very clear; the maker's mark has wear but remains legible.
