About the Item

A fine and impressive pair of antique George V Scottish sterling silver bullet shaped peppers; an addition to our silver cruets/condiments collection. These impressive antique George V Scottish sterling silver peppers are stylistically modelled in the form of spitzer bullets. The upper portion of each pepper is encircled with bands of tooled decoration and pierced 'pepper' holes. Each pepper pot retains the original fully hallmarked screw fit detachable weighted base. The weighted bases enable each pepper to stand securely on a table surface. The peppers are an exceptional gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition. Full and part hallmarks are all very clear; the hallmarks to the surface of one pepper are rubbed but legible.
