Antique Sterling Silver Repoussé Vesta / Match Safe

Elegant sterling silver vesta case featuring flowing repoussé floral and scrolling decoration with a softly asymmetrical Art Nouveau silhouette. The hinged lid opens cleanly and the underside retains the original match striker. Interior rim marked “STERLING” with additional maker’s marks. Rich naturally aged patina throughout enhances the period character and detail. #5302 This example has a refined sculptural quality uncommon in standard Victorian match safes, with the decorative relief concentrated to one side in a distinctly Art Nouveau manner. A sophisticated collectible suitable for display, desk accessory use, or inclusion in a sterling silver, tobacciana, or smoking accessories collection.
