Antique Traditional Armenian Ladies Silver and Niello Belt

Antique traditional Armenian ladies silver and niello belt Made in Imperial Russia, possibly Caucasus region (Armenia) Made 1897-1910 Maker: ?? (Cyrillic) Hallmarked in multiple places on the reverse including the kindjal with Russian silver standard 84(875 Zolocnik) Dimensions: Full belt length with buckle 59 cm Length without buckle 51 cm Buckle width 7.5 cm Weight - 176 grams Decorative shape with an all over inky black niello design of scrolling flora. The belt fastens by way of the miniature kindjal dagger which passes through a loop to the front and securing the belt, this is further attached to a safety chain. These belts were often used as part of military dress, the kindjal being an early 20th century military choice of weaponry also. Condition: This item has signs of general usage, with some minor age marks, otherwise excellent condition overall, please see pictures for a better look at the item.
