American Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Repousse Engraved Floral Decorative Dish

About the Item

This elegant Art Nouveau sterling decorative dish was realized in the United States circa 1900. It features repousse stylized floral motifs, apparently morning glory flowers and abstract curvilinear scrolling forms hand-hammered into the oval perimeter of the piece. A hand engraved monogram sits in the plain sterling center of the piece. With its beautiful craftsmanship and Classic Art Nouveau sensibility, this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period, as well as those with a penchant for exquisite objects. It is marked on the bottom "Sterling 6072" and is in very good vintage condition. The piece weighs 108 grams of sterling silver. American, circa 1900 Dimensions: 7" W x 5.5"D x 1"H.
