About the Item

Elegant Art Nouveau silver centrepiece consisting of 5 pieces: coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug and tray. Vessels with an oval base and smooth straight sides, four symmetrically arranged vertical folds around the circumference, relief bands with sculptural floral decoration on the lower and upper edges, grooved oval openings raised inwards, coffee and teapots with swan spout and hinged lid with smooth round knob, sugar bowl with plug lid, milk jug with spout remains open at the top, J-shaped handles protruding horizontally from the upper edge of the straight vessel walls, with an angular profile on the outside and a rounded profile on the inside, the hot drink jugs with inlaid rings to interrupt heat transfer. Rectangular silver tray in a smooth, simple design with a raised, flared rim and bevelled corners with a raised groove in the centre, rounded, slightly curved extension of the rim on the broad sides with cut-in handles.
