An Edwardian sterling silver mug in the Art Nouveau style. The mug is of planished and double ogee banded beaker form, with a spreading foot, the bisecting pierced handle is of an naturalistic whiplash design. Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver). Period: - Early 20th century. Date: - London, 1905. Maker: - Mappin & Webb Ltd. Engraving: - Engraved to the base with the retailers mark of "Mappin & Webb Ltd". Measurement: - 11.6cm (height) x 14.9cm (width to include handle) x 8.7cm (rim diameter). The mug can hold approximately 500ml - to the brim. Weight: - 249.0 grams.
