A set of truly exceptional quality, for the richness of its decoration, its form and sculpting. The set includes an ice cream set two pieces and a dessert set four pieces. It is extremely rare to find a service as complete, probably a special order. This complete set is with its original chest with compartments for each piece. No monograms on the ice cream set, monogram on the dessert set four pieces. It is especially important to note the weight and size of these pieces as well as the very high quality of mother-of-pearl, rarely seen. Once again, Cardeilhac shows that he was one of the most illustrious French silversmiths. Fabulous and rare!
