The "Acorn" or "Konge" pattern of sterling silver flatware was designed by Johan Rohde in 1915 for Georg Jensen. At one time there were 220 individual pieces in this pattern, but today there is closer to 90 pieces, and remains one of the most iconic Jensen patterns today. Johan Rohde is known for his innovative and unique style. While his patterns are elegant and classic, they are a uniqe version of Art Nouveau and still fit in well with today's world. Johan Rohde became one of the first people to work with Georg Jensen after Rohde had Jensen commission some pieces for his personal collection in 1906.
