    A magnificent, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver goblet; an addition to our collection of wine and drinks related silverware. This magnificent antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a shaped pedestal to a plain rounded knop and circular spreading foot. The body of this silver goblet is embellished with an applied cartouche pertaining to the London Athletic Club accented with a uncial-style typeface and incorporating the motto 'Vincit Qui Patitur' - Who Endures, Wins, in addition to. Either side of the goblet features a cast and applied wing, each with ornamentation reproducing the details of the plumage. The upper rim of the vessel is encompassed with an applied moulded border. The cast sterling silver pedestal is modelled in the form of Caduceus with the wings to the upper portion conjoining with the drinking vessel. This impressive antique Victorian silver goblet...
