Rare Antique Sterling Silver Tobacco Box, Miniature Pipe
About the Item
A fantastic and rare, novelty, antique sterling silver tobacco tin or box.
It has been designed as an empty tin can, very realistically detailed and similar in size to a regular food can.
It has a lift off lid, also in sterling silver with a miniature phenolic Amber pipe mounted to the lid for lifting it off.
The pipe actually unscrews from the lid and is in fact a miniature pipe.
This is a table top piece, designed to be displayed in all its glory, it is a showstopper piece and is meant to be seen.
It would be a perfect piece to store your blend of the day.
The front has been engraved with a message; G.D.E.T from G.H.W, 16th August 1911.
The tin and the inner of the lid are both fully hallmarked for London, 1903, makers mark is worn.

9.25" circumference
Weighs Approx 183 grams.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, hallmarks worn on the outer, there is one deep ding to the side, not penetrated, see photos.
