Silver Baroque Milk/Coffee Pot Augsburg Germany J.G. Kloss, circa 1761-1763


Silver Baroque milk/coffee pot/Augsburg Germany vintage, made, circa 1761-1763. Baroque milk/coffee pot of finest manufacturing quality. Measures: Height: 27.5 cm (=10.82 inches.) Diameter of foot: 9.5 cm (= 3.74 inches.) Hallmarked: Branded by Augsburg Town mark which is sign of a pine's cone with year's Mark P (1761-1763) as well as master's mark 'GK' existing: Johann Georg Kloss (he became master in year 1738 and died 1766.) Massive silver, most probably 13 lot (=Silver 812.5.) Specifications: The gorgeous silver milk/coffee pot is made of massive silver (cast) of finest quality. The pot is of pear-shaped form type (=baluster mould). Additionally, its surface is abundantly decorated with twisted lines which are visible on round foot, too. The beak-shaped spout has a hinged small lid whereas the hinge of the pot's lid is attached to lateral side/ a round knob is existing at top of lid. Finally, there is a hoisted handle made of bone attached to pot. Weight: 598 grams 21.09 OZ 1.318 lbs. Condition: Mint (the silver was cleaned/there aren't any damages existing.).
