V. Boivin, French Silver And Crystal Decanters, Circa 1900
This elegant pair of French 1st Standard Silver (950/1000) Mounted Crystal Decanters was made by the Paris silversmithing firm of V. Boivin, Circa 1900. The swirled crystal bodies are mounted with Louis XV style silver mounts with undulating scroll patterns forming the duckbill shaped hinged lids, scroll form handles and shaped pedestal feet. An intertwined engraved monogram graces the neck of each decanter. The decanters are fully hallmarked with Boivin's maker's mark and silver standard mark. Height: 12 1/4 Inches. Diameter: 4 1/2 Inches. Excellent Patina and Condition.
