Very Early California Sterling Silver Flatware Set c1870's Race Horse Equestrian

About the Item

Equestrian motif silver flatware set - 48 pieces. This early service includes: 8 knives, mother of pearl handles with sterling ferrules and plated blunt blades, 8 5/8" 8 dinner size forks, 7 1/2" 8 luncheon/dessert forks, 6 3/4" 8 teaspoons, 5 7/8" 8 place soup/dessert spoons, 7 1/4" 8 large dinner spoons, 8 3/4" Includes bonus brand new storage chest - styles vary. The flat pieces in the set (Forks, Teaspoons, Soup Spoons, and Dinner Spoons) are sterling silver and were made by Shreve, Crump, and Low, circa 1870's - these pieces depict a Horse Cinch Strap engraving and central "M" monogram. This set will be lightly hand polished and sealed in individual plastic sleeves prior to shipping. 100% satisfaction guaranteed!
