Vintage Sterling Silver Cabbage Lighter by Buccellati, Italian, Late 1960s

Handcrafted in Italy in the late 1960s, this sterling silver lighter in the form of cabbage was created by famed silversmith and jewelry designer Buccellati. This piece is marked atop the rim of the lighter's chamber. The sterling leaves mimic real lettuce leaves with hand-carved veins and wilting and curved top edges. The lighter screws into the center chamber that is lined in green velvet.
