Art Deco Chrome and Galalith Knife Rests Ensemble in Box

About the Item

This rare French Art Deco knife rest or chopstick rest ensemble is still in its original box. The geometric shape features a chromed metal square stick shape with individual salt and pepper shaker inserts made in black and off-white Galalith. The tableware accessory is marked "modéle déposé" (patented) on the box. Dimensions: Box: 9.07 in wide (23 cm) by 5.13 in deep (13 cm) by 1.19 in high (3 cm). Each knife rest is 3.75 in wide (9.5 cm) by 0.82 in deep (2 cm) by 0.82 in high (2 cm). The salt or pepper shaker is 0.69 in diameter (1.5 cm) by 0.69 in high (1.8 cm).
