Reid & Sons Antique Sterling Silver Knife / Pen Rests

About the Item

An exceptional, fine and impressive, large pair of antique George V English sterling silver knife / pen rests; an addition to our dining silverware collection. These exceptional and large antique George V cast sterling silver knife have a baluster shaped form. The cast ornamentation includes an exceptional scallop shell motif to either end of each horizontal rest. These 20th century silver knife rests are supported by impressive scrolling legs, which emanate from either side of each scallop shell. These exceptional antique knife / pen rests are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire. Condition These 20th century silver knife rests are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the knife rests are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver.
