Art Deco Oreum Coffee and Sugar Pot, France 1940, Metal and Gold Style Patina

About the Item

This coffee service is a service from the Art deco period. Made in France in the 1940s in a metal called Oreum because it is close to the appearance of gold, and was used in France by the famous coppersmith Jean Dunand, I show you a detail photo with the signature of Dunand and the use of the same stamp marked Oreum as that of the Coffee service which is sold here.

    A fine vintage George VI English sterling silver four-piece tea and coffee service in the Art Deco style; an addition to our silver teaware collection. This exceptional vintage sterling silver tea set consists of a coffee jug, teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl. Each piece of this fine set has a plain rectangular cushion shaped form onto a stepped collet style base with Art Deco bracket style feet.
