About the Item
Silver coffee and tea set is an original group of decorative objects realized in the between the 1920s and the 1920s.
Original silver metal.
Made in Germany by WMF.
Farir conditions: silvering is partially consumed, teapot slightly pressed.
Very beautiful and bright metal coffee and tea set that includes a coffee and teapot, a milk/cream pourer and a sugar bowl. The side is slightly conical and there is a stylized leaf decoration and ornamental medallions.
The vases has been produced by WMF Company, German. WMF, Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. This company has very long story: the "Straub & Schweizer" metal products factory in Geislingen dates back to 1853 for the production of silver-plated crockery and cutlery. To 1868 dates Opening of the first retail branch in Berlin. The company was, and still is, a producer of metal tableware, particularly silvered flatware, and they began by producing their own glass inserts for cruet stands, open salts, cookie jars and similar articles.
