Vallauris Midcentury Ceramic Pottery Tray Dish in the Manner of Picasso, 1954

About the Item

An exquisitely made, wonderfully decorated, large, unique ceramic tray made in Vallauris, France during the peak of Vallauris studio ceramics. During this time (1954), many famous artist including Picasso, Marc Chagall, Roger Capron, Charles Voltz, etc. We’re working and creating pieces that are now considered iconic in the pottery/ceramic art world. This piece is signed and dated (1954) on the base. Would be a fantastic edition to any midcentury ceramic collection or very riveting stand alone work. Dimensions: 1.5" high, 17.25" wide, 7" deep.
