Rare 19th Century Adirondack Duck / Sneak Boat in Old Blue Paint

About the Item

Rare 19th century Adirondak duck / sneak boat in old blue paint. Rare because these boats were made from solid wood and unless protected have all but rotted. It has a spectacular old blue painted surface. The decorative details make this a show piece for sure, the shallow depth makes this a manageable item to display. This boat was acquired from an estate on Cascade lake located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. A beautiful piece of American Folk Art.
